Commercial XML-IR search engines have now been identified. XML (and other semi-structured formats) are being used behind the scenes is some on-line search engines without user knowledge. Book search engines that follow a thorough retrieval strategy have been identified. Now the track is drawing to a conclusion. Not only we have a better idea of who the users might be, but we have identified such systems in use. A report is in preparation for the INEX proceedings.
